Arrest Request for 8 Suspects in Capital Markets Transactions Investigation
In the Istanbul-centered capital markets investigation, 8 suspects whose procedures have been completed were referred to the criminal judgeship of peace with a request for arrest.
Within the framework of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding transactions in the capital market, 8 of the suspects who were detained and whose procedures at the police station were completed were sent to court with a request for arrest.
Development of the Investigation
Judicial investigations carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Bureau of Investigation for the Financing of Terrorism and Laundering Offenses regarding transactions realized in the capital market continue without slowing down.
Those Referred to the Courthouse
13 suspects, whose procedures at the police station were completed and who underwent health checks, were subsequently referred to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan and gave their statements to the public prosecutor's office.
Following the prosecutor's office interrogations, suspects Altuğ Kantarcı, Ali Çil, İskender Balcı, Özgür Akayoğlu, Kerim Tosun, İsmet Öğüt, Adem Karatepe, and Mesut Altan were referred to the criminal judgeship of peace with a request for arrest.
Judicial Control and Other Suspects
Suspects Tuğba Hicran Ataseven, Duygu Somay, Nuray Elmastaş, Azize Binnur Tosun, and Tolga Tuğtekin were referred to the judgeship with a request for the application of judicial control measures.
On the other hand, it was learned that the interrogation and procedures at the police station of the other 20 suspects in custody within the scope of the same investigation are ongoing.
