August Housing Value Report Announced: Average Price Exceeded 5.3 Million TL
According to Emlakjet and Endeksa data, the average housing price across Turkey has surpassed 5 million 311 thousand liras, while the real decline trend continues.
The results of the August Housing Value Report, prepared in cooperation with real estate decision platform Emlakjet and Endeksa, have been announced. According to the disclosed data, the average housing price across Turkey exceeded 5 million 311 thousand TL, while the price per square meter was calculated as 42 thousand 488 TL.
Housing Prices Across Turkey
In the prepared report, the average residential square meter sales price across Turkey was calculated at 42 thousand 488 TL, and the average housing price was calculated at the level of 5 million 311 thousand TL.
Real Decline and Nominal Increase
While residential square meter prices across the country showed a nominal increase of 23.5 percent over the past year, they recorded a real decline of 6.2 percent against inflation.
Current Situation in Metropolitan Cities
According to the announced report, among metropolitan cities, the average housing price was 7 million 359 thousand 550 TL in Istanbul, 6 million 574 thousand 320 TL in Izmir, and 4 million 737 thousand 460 TL in Ankara.
Province with the Highest Increase
The province where the annual increase in residential square meter prices occurred at the highest rate was recorded as Ankara with a 28.2 percent increase.
