Automotive sector achieved $3.94 billion in exports in September
The automotive industry signed off on $3.94 billion in exports in September, maintaining its leadership in Turkey's total exports.

Distribution by product groups
Supply industry exports in September amounted to $1.46 billion. Passenger car exports stood at $1.098 billion, motor vehicles for the transport of goods at $800 million, buses-minibuses-midibuses at $251 million, and tow truck exports at $292 million.
Largest export markets
In September, Turkey's largest automotive industry market was Germany with $629 million. Germany was followed by France with $506 million and the United Kingdom with $453 million.
European Union market and targets
Automotive exports to European Union countries were $2.89 billion in September and $22.948 billion in the January-September period. OİB Chairperson of the Board Kemal Yazıcı stated that they aim to move exports further by maintaining their strength in existing markets.
