Balparmak's 5-year investment move to transform honey production processes
The company aims to increase efficiency in production, packaging, and storage stages with 20 strategic projects covering artificial intelligence and robotic systems.
Balparmak has launched a 5-year strategic investment program to transform all processes of honey sourced from beekeepers, from acceptance to the table, into a smart, autonomous, and data-driven structure.
Strategic Investment Program
Balparmak is taking honey production and storage processes into a smart and data-driven structure with a 5-year strategic investment program that includes artificial intelligence, robotic systems, and advanced analytical solutions. In this context, 20 strategic projects put into operation aim to transform operational processes.
Increase in Speed in Operational Processes
With 20 strategic projects incorporating artificial intelligence, robotic systems, and advanced analytical solutions, operational speed is targeted to increase by up to 40 percent in processes ranging from honey acceptance and analysis to blending, filling, packaging, and storage.
Statements by Ulaş Altıparmak
Evaluating the investment program, Balparmak General Manager Ulaş Altıparmak emphasized that they have been operating for 46 years with a focus on food safety, quality, and scientific expertise, and stated that they view digital transformation as the foundation of trust and efficiency.
Supply-to-Table Trust Chain
While it is stated that operations ranging from the acceptance and analysis of honey sourced from beekeepers to storage are moved to a smart and autonomous structure with the five-year investment program, every stage of the value chain from hive to table is supported by data.
