Fenerbahçe's young boxers win 12 medals at championship in Rize
Fenerbahçe athletes won a total of 12 medals at the Yeşilay U-23 Men's and Women's Turkish Individual Boxing Championship held in Rize.
Fenerbahçe's young boxers achieved significant success by completing the Yeşilay U-23 Men's and Women's Turkish Individual Boxing Championship held in Rize with 7 gold, 3 silver, and 2 bronze medals.
Details of the Tournament in Rize
The Yeşilay U-23 Men's and Women's Turkish Individual Boxing Championship was organized in the province of Rize. The final matches of the tournament, featuring a total of 365 athletes from 59 different cities, took place at the Rize Yenişehir Sports Hall.
Boxing Branch Manager Atagün Yalçınkaya also closely followed the competitions and supported the athletes.
Athletes Winning Gold Medals
Fenerbahçe boxers achieved the success of winning 7 gold medals in the tournament. Among the gold medal winners were Filiz Işık in the 48 kg, Ruken Levent in the 54 kg, Pınar Benek in the 57 kg, and Zeliha Özdemir in the 80 kg.
In the men's category, Can Kaya in the 55 kg, Selahattin Cinibulak in the 60 kg, and Ahmet Pekel in the 70 kg won the gold medals.
Silver and Bronze Medals
The yellow-navy blue athletes finished the organization with 3 silver medals. The names winning silver medals were Ayşenur Karaoğlan in the 75 kg, Muhammet Bursa in the 65 kg, and Taha Turgut Tarhan in the 90 kg.
The athletes who won bronze medals in the championship were recorded as Hikmet Gül Türkmen in the 80 kg and Şahende Zengin in the 54 kg.
