Bank Mellat Istanbul Branch's Operating License Revoked
The Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency terminated the branch's operations within the framework of relevant legislative provisions.
The Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency has decided to revoke the operating license of Bank Mellat Central Tehran Istanbul Turkey Central Branch.

Details of the Decision
As a result of the file evaluated at the Board's meeting dated September 18, 2026, it was ruled that the operating license of the relevant branch be revoked.
Law Cited as Basis
It was reported that the said decision to revoke the operating license was taken within the framework of subparagraph (b) of the first paragraph of Article 71 of the Banking Law No. 5411.
