Among the sector indices, tourism was the top gainer with 3.43 percent, while the financial leasing and factoring sector suffered the highest loss with 7.13 percent.
Effects of Global Markets
The non-farm payrolls increase in the US in September remaining below expectations at 29 thousand weakened expectations that the US Federal Reserve would raise interest rates in October.
Purchases supported by the decline in bond yields and oil prices enabled a positive trend in global markets.

At the second meeting of the Fund Coordination Board, the schedule for payments to fund investors was evaluated.
Giving instructions to relevant institutions in order to finalize the draft envisaging amendments to the Capital Markets Law was among the prominent developments.

Analysts stated that inflation, real effective exchange rate, Treasury cash balance, and industrial production will be monitored domestically next week.
Abroad, the US foreign trade balance, FOMC meeting minutes, Eurozone producer inflation, and retail sales will be watched.
Technical Levels and Resistance Points
Experts conveyed that technically, the 12,400 and 12,500 point levels are in the position of resistance in the BIST 100 index.
In possible pullbacks, the 12,100 and 12,000 point levels will be monitored as support points.
