On Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index gained 1.08 percent compared to the previous close in the first half of the day, rising to 13,263.95 points with a total transaction volume of 140.4 billion liras.

As of 13.00, the BIST 100 index increased by 141.37 points compared to the previous close to reach the 13,263.95 level, and the total transaction volume hit 140.4 billion liras.
Sectoral Changes
While the banking index was the top-gaining sector with a 5.91 percent increase in the first half of the day, the holding index lost 1.69 percent, and the steepest decline occurred in the financial leasing and factoring sector with 9.42 percent.

The interest rate policies of the US Federal Reserve, geopolitical risks in the Middle East, and the Financial Stability Committee's statement that there are no fundamental risks in the capital markets influenced the direction of the markets.
CMB Decisions and Fund Regulations
In line with the decision made by the Capital Markets Board, all investment funds of 7 portfolio management companies on the Turkey Electronic Fund Trading Platform were suspended from trading, and it was decided to liquidate certain funds.

Analysts stated that the CBRT meeting summary, weekly money and bank statistics, and the BoE interest rate decision will be monitored, noting that technically 13,400 and 13,500 points are resistance levels, while 13,100 and 13,000 points serve as support levels.
