Borsa Istanbul closes the week with a loss

On Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index completed the week with an 8.18 percent decrease at 13,284.42 points, seeing a low of 12,817.01 points and a high of 14,355.46 points during the week.
Changes in Sector Indices
During the same period, the financial index fell by 11.31 percent to 17,574.88 points, and the technology index dropped by 10.08 percent to 41,413.86 points.
The services index decreased by 9.71 percent to 11,551.32 points, while the industrial index fell by 9.63 percent to 18,133.86 points.
Top Gainers and Losers in Stocks
Among the stocks included in the BIST 100 index, the highest gainer this week was Tekfen Holding with 12.66 percent, followed by Enerya Enerji and Anadolu Sigorta.
Among these stocks, those that lost the most value were listed as Katılımevim Tasarruf Finansman, Odine Teknoloji, and Pasifik Eurasia Lojistik.
Most Valuable Companies
The most valuable companies whose shares are traded on Borsa Istanbul were recorded as ASELSAN with 1 trillion 699 billion 740 million liras, Tüpraş, and Garanti BBVA.
Gold and Foreign Exchange Prices
The gram price of 24-karat gold bullion decreased by 0.06 percent compared to the end of last week to 6,826 liras, while the selling price of Republic gold fell to 44,450 liras.
The selling price of the US dollar increased by 0.36 percent to 48.7810 liras, while euro and other foreign currencies generally followed a downward trend.
