Capacity Increase Investment for İzmir Urla WPP from Enda Enerji
Moving to increase the capacity of the wind power plant in İzmir, the holding plans to commission it in December.
Enda Enerji Holding is making a new investment of 10 million dollars to increase the capacity of the Wind Power Plant operating in Urla, İzmir.
Scope and Details of the Investment
Enda Enerji Holding is investing 10 million dollars to increase the capacity of the Wind Power Plant in Urla, İzmir.
Within the scope of the investment, two new wind turbines will be installed at the plant, and the total number of turbines will be increased from five to seven.
Installed Capacity Targets
With the project, the electrical installed capacity of the plant is targeted to be increased from thirteen megawatts-electric to twenty-one point four megawatts-electric.
The mechanical installed capacity is planned to be increased from fifteen megawatts-mechanical to twenty-three point four megawatts-mechanical.
Timeline of Works
Following the completion of the works, which are planned to take approximately two months, the capacity increase is anticipated to be put into operation in December.
Site Conditions and Statements
Speaking at the ground-breaking ceremony of the investment, Enda Enerji Holding Chairman of the Board Serdar Dağıstan stated that the site is in the Class I category with high wind conditions.
With the capacity increase, the electrical installed capacity of the plant is expected to increase by approximately sixty-five percent.
