In the ranking of countries with the highest exports by the sector in the first eight months of 2026, Spain ranked first with $1.27 billion.
Spain was followed by Italy with $1.26 billion and the United States with $1.04 billion.

Exports to the United States recorded an increase of approximately 34 percent during this period.

Istanbul Chemicals and Chemical Products Exporters Association President Vefa İbrahim Aracı stated that Europe will continue to be the main market.
