This strategic investment, planned to be implemented over the next five years, is projected to create more than 900 jobs in the region.
Scope and Details of the Investment
The investment announced by Chobani will be realized over the next five years on a massive area of approximately 140,000 square meters. The new facility will operate as a critical hub in the production of the company's next-generation food and beverage products.
Strategic Partnership with Keurig Dr Pepper
As part of its expanded collaboration with Keurig Dr Pepper, Chobani will take over KDP's existing manufacturing facility, warehousing spaces, equipment, and infrastructure in Allentown.
Regional Employment and Production Targets
Thanks to the investment, it is projected that more than 900 new jobs will be created in the region. Once the facility reaches full capacity, it is targeted to source over 1.36 billion liters of milk annually from Pennsylvania.
