French food and facility management company Sodexo is preparing for a comprehensive restructuring process in its operations in France. In an official statement made by the company management, it was stated that this step aims to accelerate growth and increase global competitiveness.
Nationwide Cuts in France
Within the scope of the project, which foresees the reorganization of operational processes across France, it was reported that 963 positions will be eliminated in the first phase. It was noted that this announced figure corresponds to 4 percent of the company's total workforce in the country.
Headquarters Regulations
It was stated that a separate administrative restructuring project directly affecting the company's headquarters will also be implemented. Within the framework of this administrative regulation, it is expected that another 134 positions will be eliminated.
Total Employment Loss
Following the operational and administrative adjustments to be carried out, it has been finalized that the total employment cut planned by Sodexo in its France operations will reach 1,097 positions.
