Construction Cost Index Data for July 2026 Announced
In July 2026, the construction cost index increased by 28.33 percent on an annual basis and recorded a 1.15 percent increase on a monthly basis.
According to data shared by the Turkish Statistical Institute, the construction cost index increased by 1.15 percent monthly and 28.33 percent annually in July 2026.
General Construction Costs
According to the data announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute for the July 2026 period, the construction cost index increased by 1.15 percent compared to the previous month.
While the annual increase rate in the same period materialized at the level of 28.33 percent, changes in material and labor items also became clear.
Material and Labor Rates
According to the released data, compared to the previous month, the material index increased by 1.28 percent, while the increase in the labor index was recorded as 0.92 percent.
Compared to the same month of the previous year, the material index increased by 27.13 percent and the labor index by 30.51 percent.
Building Construction Costs
The building construction cost index recorded an increase of 1.08 percent compared to the previous month and rose by 28.37 percent on an annual basis.
In this category, the material index increased by 1.21 percent and the labor index by 0.86 percent compared to the previous month.
Non-Residential Buildings
The construction cost index for non-residential buildings recorded an increase of 1.38 percent compared to the previous month and 28.19 percent on an annual basis.
In non-residential structures, the material index increased by 1.49 percent monthly and the labor index by 1.15 percent, while on an annual basis, materials increased by 26.50 percent and labor by 31.65 percent.
