Decision in banking and factoring sector: Management of five companies transferred to SDIF

The Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency transferred the management of a total of five institutions, including three investment banks and two factoring companies, to the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund.

With recent decisions made by the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency, the managements of Tera Yatırım Bankası, Destek Yatırım Bankası, Hedef Yatırım Bankası, Destek Finans Faktoring, and Tera Finans Faktoring were transferred to the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund.

Institutions Whose Managements Were Transferred

In line with the decision taken by the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency, the management rights of five companies in the financial sector were transferred to the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund structure.

Within this scope, Tera Yatırım Bankası, Destek Yatırım Bankası, Hedef Yatırım Bankası, as well as Destek Finans Faktoring and Tera Finans Faktoring companies were included in the process.

Partnership Rights and Share Distributions

It was decided that the partnership rights other than dividends regarding the shares owned by Altunç Kumova within Destek Yatırım Bankası and Destek Finans Faktoring would be exercised by the SDIF.

The share rights of Sibel Gökalp, Namık Kemal Gökalp, Hedef Holding, and Hedef Girişim Sermayesi Yatırım Ortaklığı, who are partners in Hedef Yatırım Bankası, also passed to the fund management.

The exercise of partnership rights other than dividends pertaining to the shares of Emre Tezmen and Oğuz Tezmen in Tera Yatırım Bankası was transferred to the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund.

Share Transfer Process

It was reported that the shares in the factoring company of Destek Holding, controlled by Altunç Kumova, must be transferred to individuals meeting the conditions within six months.

It was decided that the shares of Emre Tezmen and Oğuz Tezmen in the factoring company should similarly be transferred to eligible investors within six months.

Sectoral Asset Shares

According to official statements, it was announced that the share of the three transferred investment banks within the total assets of the banking sector is 0.22 percent.

It was shared that the share of the two factoring companies within the total asset size of the factoring sector is at the rate of 1.45 percent.
