Diesel Discount of 4.10 TL Implemented Following Brent Crude Drop
Following the decline in Brent crude, a discount was applied to diesel prices, and liter prices fell back below 100 TL.
The 0.91 percent drop in Brent crude reflected on the fuel market, and a 4.10 TL discount was implemented on diesel prices that had recently been raised.
Developments in Brent Crude Price
Along with the 0.91 percent decrease in the Brent crude market, the barrel price continues to trade at the level of 103.87 dollars.
Discount on Diesel Prices
Following the hike made in recent days, a discount of 4.10 TL was applied today to the liter price of diesel, which had exceeded 100 liras across Turkey.
Current Prices in Istanbul
According to the current fuel tariff on the European Side of Istanbul, the liter price of gasoline was determined as 80.40 TL, the liter price of diesel as 90.30 TL, and the liter price of LPG as 34.99 TL.
Ankara and Surrounding Provinces
While gasoline is sold for 81.30 TL, diesel for 97.40 TL, and LPG for 35.09 TL in Ankara; in Adana, gasoline is at the level of 81.60 TL, diesel at 97.70 TL, and LPG at 34.99 TL.
İzmir and Bitlis Prices
The liter prices in İzmir were announced as 68.52 TL for gasoline, 81.41 TL for diesel, and 33.79 TL for LPG; while in Bitlis, they were announced as 82.90 TL for gasoline, 99.10 TL for diesel, and 35.71 TL for LPG.
Price Differences by Companies
Final retail prices applied by fuel distribution companies may show minor differences according to cities due to free market conditions and the competitive environment.
