Within the framework of the Medium-Term Program covering the 2027-2029 period, it is planned to strengthen Turkey's foreign trade infrastructure against the digitalization wave in global trade, increase digital trade capacity in foreign representations, and develop strategic partnerships.
Increasing Digital Trade Capacity
Within the scope of the new Medium-Term Program, a capacity increase process will be initiated in foreign organizations in order to grow foreign trade through digital channels.
The institutional and technical infrastructure of trade representations in priority foreign markets will be strengthened, facilitating exporters' access to online marketplaces.
Strategic Partnerships with Distant Countries and the Islamic World
Trade diplomacy tools will be used effectively to increase market diversity against changes in global supply chains.
Export development policies targeting the Distant Countries Strategy and member countries of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation will be pursued resolutely.
Restructuring of Financing Supports
In order to reduce the financing costs of exporters, the Export Promotion Inc. (İGE) guarantee mechanism will be made more effective.
Turkish Eximbank supports will be reorganized to prioritize high-tech, value-added, green, and digital transformation-focused exports.
Service Exports and Global Branding
During the program period, it is aimed to increase service exports and the global recognition of Turkish brands in addition to goods exports.
High value-added sectors such as informatics, logistics, health and sports tourism, and consultancy will be supported.
