Economic confidence index registered an increase in September in Türkiye
According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute, the general economic confidence index recorded an increase in September, with varying changes across different sub-sectors.
According to September 2026 data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute, the economic confidence index increased by 0.7 percent compared to the previous month, rising to the level of 101.3.
General Economic Confidence Increase
According to data shared by the Turkish Statistical Institute, the economic confidence index, which was 100.6 in August, recorded an increase of 0.7 percent in September.
Consumer and Real Sector Status
In parallel with the updated data released, the consumer confidence index increased by 1.3 percent, reaching a value of 91.9.
Meanwhile, the real sector confidence index rose to a level of 102.5 with a limited increase of 0.1 percent.
Service and Trade Sectors
The retail trade sector confidence index increased by 1.1 percent to reach 111.3, painting a positive picture in the commercial field.
The service sector confidence index showed no change compared to the previous month, remaining stable at the 111.9 level.
Decline in the Construction Sector
When examining the confidence indices of various sub-sectors, it was observed that the construction sector confidence index decreased by 0.2 percent to take a value of 83.0.
