Economists' growth expectations for the second quarter of 2026 announced
Experts participating in the AA Finance survey expect the Turkish economy to record a growth rate of 2.80 percent in the second quarter of the year.
The AA Finance growth expectation survey has been concluded ahead of the Gross Domestic Product data to be announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute.
Second Quarter Growth Expectations
The expectation survey conducted by AA Finance with the participation of 11 economists has been concluded. Accordingly, experts predict that the Turkish economy will grow by 2.80 percent on an annual basis in the second quarter of 2026.
Forecast Ranges and Median Rates
Economists' growth forecasts for the second quarter ranged between 2.20 percent and 3 percent. The median of growth expectations for the whole year was calculated as 3 percent.
Future Period Projections
Economists' forecasts for the whole of 2026 were recorded at a lowest level of 2.50 percent and a highest level of 3.50 percent. The median of growth forecasts for the end of 2027 was at the level of 4 percent.
