The Ministry of Family and Social Services announced that the October payment process prepared for elderly and disabled citizens has officially started.
Scope and Purpose of the Support
In the official statement, it was expressed that these payments aim to support the full participation of elderly and disabled individuals in social life.
The Ministry emphasized that social assistance continues regularly to enable individuals to establish a sustainable life on their own.
Elderly and Disability Pension Amounts
It was reported that a total of 5.374 billion liras in elderly pension payments will be made to 736,596 citizens in October.
Additionally, it was announced that disability pension payments totaling 4.096 billion liras will be made to 553,890 citizens.
Number of Beneficiaries and Budget
Information was shared that a total of 1,290,486 citizens will directly benefit from this comprehensive payment plan.
Thus, elderly and disability pension payments totaling 9.470 billion liras are being transferred to the accounts of the beneficiaries.
