Prominent figures in agriculture and technology received their awards at an event organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union in Hanoi. Within this scope, the results of the 7th "Scientist for Farmers" Award Ceremony and the 11th National "Technical Innovation for Farmers" Competition for 2026 were announced to the public.
Technological Development and First Place
Farmer Le Van Hop from Thien Loc commune won the first prize in the "Technical Innovation for Farmers" competition with his solution of developing a high-efficiency technological process for cultivating Ganoderma lucidum mushrooms and combining waste treatment with a circular economy approach.
Scientist Title and Contributions
Pharmacist Nguyen Thanh Tuyen, Deputy Director of the Soc Son Medicinal Plants Cooperative, was honored as a scientist for farmers. These achieved successes demonstrate the creative working spirit of producers in the region and their success in integrating science into production processes.
