Leading international finance and rating agencies operating globally have shared their interest rate expectations for the upcoming Fed meeting with the public.
Institutions Expecting 3.75-4.00 Percent
Major international institutions such as BNP Paribas, BofA, JPMorgan, S&P Global, Barclays, Citi, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, ING, and LBW forecast that the interest rate will be between 3.75 and 4.00 percent.
Other global financial institutions sharing interest expectations in the same range include Mizuho, Moody's, Nomura, SocGen, UBS, and Wells Fargo.
Institutions Expecting 3.50-3.75 Percent
Financial institutions expecting interest rates to materialize at the 3.50 to 3.75 percent level include Julius Baer, Commerzbank, Danske Bank, and Fitch.
Additionally, MUFG, Morgan Stanley, StanChart, and Unicredit shape their interest rate forecasts in this lower range.
