Financial Institutions Union Sector Data and the First Half of the Year
According to the FKB's consolidated data for the April-June period, the total asset size of the sectors within the union increased by 68 percent year-on-year to reach 2 trillion 183 billion liras.
The consolidated data for the April-June period of the financial leasing, factoring, financing, asset management, and savings finance sectors within the Financial Institutions Union have been announced.
General Asset and Equity Status
The total asset size of the sectors within the union increased by 68 percent year-on-year, reaching 2 trillion 183 billion liras.
In the same period, the total receivables size increased by 71 percent to 1 trillion 582 billion liras, while the equity size increased by 76 percent to 449 billion liras.
Transaction Volume and Employment Data
The total transaction volume of the sectors in the first six months of the year increased by approximately 62 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching 2 trillion 433 billion liras.
As of the end of June, 23 thousand people were employed in the sectors, while the total number of branches was recorded as 1,458.
Savings Finance Sector Developments
The transaction volume of the savings finance sector in the first six months increased by 107 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, rising to 832 billion liras.
Asset size reached 501 billion liras with an increase of 188 percent, and the number of customers in the sector recorded an increase of more than double.
Performance of the Factoring Sector
The transaction volume of the factoring sector increased by 43 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching 1 trillion 131 billion liras.
Asset size reached 596 billion liras with a 51 percent increase, and receivables size reached 542 billion liras with an increase of approximately 51 percent.
Financial Leasing and Financing Sector
The transaction volume of the financial leasing sector in the first six months of 2026 increased by 78 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, rising to 216 billion liras.
The transaction volume of the financing sector in the first six months increased by 33 percent year-on-year, reaching 254 billion liras.
Asset Management and Sectoral Evaluation
The asset size of the asset management sector increased by 58 percent as of the end of June compared to the same period of the previous year, rising to 66 billion liras.
FKB President Ali Emre Ballı stated that evaluating the development of non-bank finance solely through numerical growth would be incomplete.
