Five Turkish companies appeared on the list ranking the world's largest defense industry organizations, with ASELSAN entering the top 40 and ARCA making an ambitious debut on the list.
Five Turkish companies secured high rankings in the Top 100 list prepared by global defense industry publication Defense News. According to the released data, ASELSAN, TUSAŞ, ARCA, ROKETSAN, and MKE achieved significant global success.
Rankings of Turkish Companies
Five Turkish defense industry companies found a place for themselves in the internationally recognized Defense News Top 100 ranking. According to the list, ASELSAN positioned at 40, TUSAŞ at 48, ARCA at 53, ROKETSAN at 64, and MKE at 81.
ASELSAN Maintained Its Leadership
ASELSAN carried its success on the list into the top 40, maintaining its position as the highest-ranking Turkish company. The company's global ranking rose from the 43rd spot to the 40th position.
ASELSAN's defense revenues increased by approximately 26 percent, rising from $3 billion 541.7 million in 2024 to $4 billion 463.9 million in 2025.
Strong Entry from ARCA Defense
One of the most notable developments of this year's list was the inclusion of ARCA Defense for the first time. The company managed to make a strong debut on the list from the 53rd spot.
ARCA's defense revenue, which stood at $653.2 million in 2024, was recorded at $3 billion 4 million in 2025, multiplying its revenue by 4.6 times in a single year.
Status of Other Companies
ROKETSAN made a significant leap by moving from the 71st spot to the 64th, with its 2025 defense revenue calculated at $2.4 billion.
Due to the impact of firms entering higher up on the list, TUSAŞ placed 48th instead of 47th, and MKE placed 81st instead of 80th. TUSAŞ's revenue reached $3.6 billion, while MKE's revenue amounted to $1.4 billion.
Total Defense Revenue
The total defense revenue of the five Turkish companies on the list reached $14.9 billion in 2025. The published data also highlighted the overall growth in the global defense market.
