Following the economic meeting held in Beştepe, the Fund Coordination Board was established to manage the processes of funds to be liquidated in capital markets, and the State Supervisory Council initiated an audit.
Economic Summit in Beştepe
A coordination meeting was held under the chairmanship of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, with the participation of economic policymakers and senior executives of relevant institutions, to evaluate recent developments in the capital markets.
Protection of Investor Rights
The meeting addressed the processes regarding funds decided to be liquidated, and discussed steps to be taken to protect investors' rights and make payments as soon as possible.
Fund Coordination Board
To ensure that the liquidation process is carried out swiftly and with regard to the public interest, the Fund Coordination Board was established under the chairmanship of the Vice President.
State Supervisory Council Investigation
Upon the instructions of President Erdoğan, the State Supervisory Council initiated an examination and audit process covering recent mutual fund transactions in the capital markets.
Transfer Processes and Roadmap
Information was provided regarding the process for the transfer of Katılımevim and Birevim Savings Finance Companies and İktisat Katılım Bankası to Türkiye Emlak Katılım Bankası, and the Capital Markets Board presented a roadmap for payments.
