Ahlatcı Holding Strategy Director Yücel Tonguç Erbaş evaluated the effects of the fund liquidation process on Borsa Istanbul on the markets, stating that the 12,500-13,000 points range is a support zone and the atmosphere of panic will ease as uncertainties diminish.
Markets Eye Fund Liquidation
Stating that the markets are focused on how the liquidation process will proceed following the fund regulation, Erbaş noted that no unusual movement has been observed on the currency side recently, while two-year bond yields have declined below the 40 percent level.

Drawing attention to the changes made in the indices, Erbaş stated that following the regulations to start in October, indices could enter a healthier pricing process, emphasizing that the 12,500-13,000 points range is a clear support zone.

Stating that announcements regarding the payment system and the process in fund liquidation are critical for the markets, Erbaş said that uncertainty could decrease with the meetings institutions will hold with MKK and statements to be made until the end of the month.
