BIST 100 and General Index Course
After seeing a low of 12,038 and a high of 12,528 points during the week, the BIST 100 Index closed the week on a flat course compared to the previous close and entered a search for balance at the 12,265 point level.
In contrast, the BIST TUM-100 Index completed the week with a 4.43 percent decline, indicating that a selling trend continued across the general market.
Stock-Based Movements
Hedef Holding, which had been falling with a continuous series of limits since August 5, closed the week with a 60.66 percent increase as buyers quickly entered the market.
Lydia Yeşil Enerji recorded an increase of 60.91 percent, while Creditwest Faktoring started a limit-up series and rose by 60.73 percent.
Sectoral Losses and Pressures
The BIST Financial Leasing Factoring Index maintained its title as the index that fell the most with a 2.762 percent value loss, while Destek Finans's decline in the same period exceeded 85 percent.
In addition, Özata Denizcilik dropped by 40.87 percent, causing a serious pressure factor on the index.
Trend Toward Corporate Trust
The 6.45 percent value gain of the BIST Securities Investment Trust Index stood out as a direct result of the search for a safe haven.
The Food Index completed the week on the positive side with a 3.28 percent increase and the Mining Index with a 2.96 percent increase.
