Ongoing tensions between the US and Iran and Ukraine's attacks on oil refineries in Russia have escalated supply concerns in international energy markets.
Brent Crude Exceeds $105
Driven by geopolitical developments, the barrel price of Brent crude surpassed the $105 level, approaching $110, which has brought about price increases in petroleum products.
2.95 TL Increase in Gasoline Prices
According to information obtained from industry sources, following the surge in global markets, a price hike of 2.95 TL per liter of gasoline is expected to take effect starting Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 00:01.
New Fuel Tariff After the Hike
With the expected price hike reflecting at the pump, the liter price of gasoline will rise to the range of 79.87-79.96 TL on the European side of Istanbul, 80.84-80.93 TL in Ankara, and 81.12-81.21 TL levels in Izmir.
Status of Other Fuel Products
It was stated that this projected price increase will only affect the gasoline group, while no changes are expected in diesel and LPG prices at this stage.
