Halk Kart Support for Low-Income Citizens from Mersin Metropolitan Municipality
With the Halk Kart application implemented in Mersin, a total of over 10 million liras in social support payments was transferred to the accounts of thousands of low-income citizens in August.
Within the framework of the Halk Kart application launched by the Mersin Metropolitan Municipality, social support payments totaling 10,174,600 liras were made to the accounts of 7,425 people throughout August.
August Payments Made
Mersin Metropolitan Municipality completed the August payments of the Halk Kart application, which it continues for low-income citizens within the scope of social municipalism activities, and deposited them into the accounts of the beneficiaries.
Financial Contribution to Thousands of Citizens
Within the scope of the work carried out under the coordination of the Department of Social Services, a total of 7,425 citizens benefited from this support, with 1,000 liras deposited into the accounts of 3,497 people and 1,700 liras into the accounts of 3,928 people.
The total amount of social support payments transferred to the accounts of beneficiaries during August reached 10,174,600 liras.
Support for Local Tradesmen and Family Budgets
Facilitating access to basic needs and food items, Halk Kart can be used in contracted local markets and grocery stores, thereby contributing to both the family budgets of citizens and local tradesmen.
