Halkbank Applies to CMB for Secondary Public Offering and Capital Increase
The bank has made its official application to the Capital Markets Board for the planned secondary public offering process within the framework of the decision dated August 7.
Türkiye Halk Bankası has submitted its official application to the Capital Markets Board to increase its issued capital and carry out a secondary public offering.
Board of Directors Decision and Application
According to official statements made by Halkbank through the Public Disclosure Platform, steps were taken in line with the bank's Board of Directors decision dated August 7, 2026. It was announced to the public that the necessary application was made to the Capital Markets Board on August 27, 2026, within the scope of secondary public offering plans.
Capital Increase Details
The bank aims to increase its current issued capital of 7 billion 184 million 778 thousand 41.963 liras by an amount of 1 billion 796 million 194 thousand 510.491 liras. With this increase, the total issued capital is planned to reach 8 billion 980 million 972 thousand 552.454 liras.
Method of Sale of Shares
It is envisaged that the shares representing the capital to be increased will be offered for sale to investors via a public offering on the stock exchange by restricting the preemptive rights of existing shareholders. It was reported that registered and dematerialized HALKB shares will be issued in the capital increase to be realized.
Prospectus and Reporting Process
The prospectus prepared regarding the secondary public offering was submitted to the CMB for approval while also being published in the Investor Relations Section on the bank's website. Additionally, the report regarding the use of the funds to be obtained from the capital increase was shared via KAP.
