Iceland added to overseas public servant salaries and expense schedules
With a Presidential Decree published in the Official Gazette, Iceland has been included in the country groups and relocation expense schedules determining the salaries of public servants serving abroad.
Procedures and principles regarding the salaries to be paid to public servants on permanent duty abroad were amended, updating the country groups and relocation expense schedules.

Changes were made to the regulation regarding payments to be made to public servants on permanent duty abroad. The published Presidential Decree has entered into force.
Inclusion of Iceland
With the new regulation, Iceland was also included in the country groups that form the basis for the salaries to be paid to public servants on permanent duty abroad.
Addition of Reykjavik
Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland, was also added to the cities used in calculating relocation expenses within the scope of the Travel Allowance Law.
