According to the published report, Istanbul Airport reached a daily average of 1,671 flights, ranking first among Europe's busiest airports.
Other Busy Airports in Europe
Istanbul Airport was followed by Paris Charles de Gaulle with a daily average of 1,424 flights and Amsterdam Airport with 1,418 flights.
London Heathrow Airport ranked in the list with 1,330 daily flights, and Frankfurt Airport with 1,321 daily flights.
Antalya Airport in the Top Ten
Antalya Airport, another major hub from Turkey, was identified as Europe's 8th busiest airport with 1,040 daily flights.
