Istanbul Global E-Export Summit Brings Turkish Exporters Together with Global Markets
Targeting a billion-dollar transaction volume, the Istanbul Global E-Export Summit is preparing to bring world-renowned marketplaces and local manufacturers together in Istanbul.
Approaching a volume of six billion dollars, the Turkish e-export sector is preparing for the international meeting to be held at the Haliç Congress Center in cooperation with the Ministry of Trade, TİM, and ETİD in order to open up to new markets.
Summit Details
Realized in cooperation with the Ministry of Trade, the Turkish Exporters Assembly, and ETİD, the Istanbul Global E-Export Summit will open its doors at the Haliç Congress Center on September 3-5.
Global Marketplaces in Istanbul
It is stated that the total share of the fifty global marketplaces coming to Istanbul in the world e-commerce market is at the level of 2.75 trillion dollars.
Targets and Figures
TİM Vice President Çetin Tecdelioğlu stated that, according to ETBİS data, the e-commerce volume has exceeded 4.5 trillion liras and they aim to increase the e-export share to 10 percent.
Transaction Volume Expectation
Ministry of Trade Head of Department Hasan Önal conveyed that global e-commerce is expected to reach 7 trillion dollars in 2026 and that they will close this year with an e-export target of 6 billion dollars.
