"İş'te Economy" workshops for high school students are preparing for the new term

The new term of the free "İş'te Economy" workshops prepared by the Türkiye İş Bankası Museum for high school students starts on September 23. Aiming to provide financial literacy to young people, the training will last for 11 weeks under the coordination of expert academicians in their field.

Scope and Objectives of the Program

Having attracted intense interest last year, the program continues to open the doors of financial literacy for young people.

It offers the opportunity to think and discuss topics such as the world's limited resources, sustainability, budget, investment, and globalization.

It enables the comprehension of economic behaviors through game theory.

Training Schedule and Expert Staff

Aiming to convey the cornerstones of economy, the program will kick off on Wednesday, September 23 with the "What is Economy?" workshop.

The training will continue for 11 weeks, covering a different topic each week.

The program will be carried out under the coordination of Prof. Dr. Murat Birdal, a faculty member at the Istanbul University Faculty of Economics.

Academic Staff and Participation Conditions

The training will be given by academicians such as Prof. Dr. Zahide Ayyıldız Onaran, Assist. Prof. Elif Asoy Küçükkişnişci, and Res. Asst. Dr. Deniz Oktay.

At the end of each session, a separate certificate will be given to the participants.
