Major drop in diesel prices: A discount of 5 liras and 36 kurus per liter has been made
With the decline of oil prices in global markets, a significant price reduction has been implemented for the diesel group.
Following the declines in oil prices on a global scale, a major discount was implemented on fuel price boards. The 5 lira and 36 kurus discount on the liter sale price of diesel will be reflected at the pump prices starting from midnight.
Decline in Global Oil Prices
The rapid pullback observed in oil prices worldwide and the price of a barrel of Brent crude dropping below 85 dollars directly affected domestic fuel prices.
Discount Decision on Diesel Prices
A discount of 5 liras and 36 kurus was made on the liter sale price of diesel fuel products, and this discount will be reflected at the pump prices as of 00:00 at night.
Current Fuel Table
Before the discount, the liter price of diesel was trading at 82.73 liras on the European Side of Istanbul and 82.58 liras on the Anatolian Side. The figures were recorded as 83.83 liras in Ankara and 84.12 liras in Izmir.
Forecast for New Pump Prices
Following the realized maximum discount of 5 liras, it is projected that the liter price of diesel will drop to 77.73 liras in Istanbul, 78.83 liras in Ankara, 79.12 liras in Izmir, and an average of 80.57 liras in eastern provinces.
