Minister Bayraktar stated that Hakkari will be referred to as a zinc and lead belt and that it possesses very significant reserves globally.

Contribution to the Economy and Employment

Stating that just as they made Şırnak the capital of oil, they aim to make Hakkari the capital of mining, Bayraktar said that the underground wealth will be brought into the economy.

Good News on Natural Gas Investment

Minister Bayraktar gave the good news that natural gas will be delivered to the districts of Şemdinli, Çukurca, and Derecik following Hakkari and Yüksekova.
