Minister Bolat States Damascus World Economic Forum Will Strengthen Regional Stability
Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat stated that the inaugural Damascus World Economic Forum will contribute to Syria's development and increase economic stability in the region.
Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat announced their participation in the Damascus World Economic Forum, which was held for the first time in the Syrian capital, Damascus, and is planned to be organized annually. Speaking at the opening of the forum, Bolat emphasized that this initiative is a historic step for the economic future of the region.
Vision of Regional Cooperation and Integration
Stating that Turkey delivered the opening speech at the inaugural meeting of the forum, Minister Bolat expressed that they put forward a vision of bilateral and regional cooperation, joint development, and strong economic integration.
Goals of the Forum and Syria's Development
Noting that the forum aims to develop new collaborations in the fields of trade, investment, logistics, energy, and finance, Bolat stated that Syria's economic capacity would be strengthened through this.
Minister Bolat also conveyed that with these steps, the goal is for Syria to once again become an important economic and commercial hub in the Levant region.
