In order to ensure price stability in the market, the ministry has inspected the selling prices of stationery items and vehicle fire extinguishers in Nicosia and Kyrenia.
Upon the instructions of Minister Hasan Taçoy, the Ministry of Economy and Energy has launched a comprehensive market price inspection process across the country. In the first phase, stationery materials and vehicle fire extinguishers are being inspected, focusing on Nicosia and Kyrenia.

Teams affiliated with the Ministry of Economy and Energy implemented price inspections on products in the market nationwide upon the instructions of Minister Hasan Taçoy.

According to the statement, the selling prices of stationery materials and fire extinguishers, which are mandatory in vehicles, were determined in the first phase.
Legal Process and Document Procurement
After obtaining and examining official documents regarding the purchase prices of the products in question, legal action will be taken against businesses where deemed necessary.
Operations Focused on Nicosia and Kyrenia
It was reported that the inspection activities, initially launched in the cities of Nicosia and Kyrenia, will be expanded to other centers and different product areas within the week.
