The Ministry of Science and Technology is preparing to chair the Vietnam Innovation Summit 2027, held under the theme "Innovation for Productivity, Resilience, and Shared Prosperity" within the framework of the APEC 2027 High-Level Week.
Theme and Scope of the Summit
The Ministry of Science and Technology will organize the Vietnam Innovation Summit 2027 in coordination with the Ministry of Finance and relevant agencies. The event will be implemented in accordance with the APEC 2027 Master Plan.
Topics and Initiatives to Be Addressed
The conference is planned to cover topics such as policy initiatives, networking, investment, and the promotion of the country's innovative capabilities.
It is expected that the Phu Quoc Initiative within the APEC Innovation Network will be announced during the conference.
Collaborations and Inter-Institutional Connections
The summit aims to establish connections between Vietnamese enterprises, investment funds, research institutes, and universities, as well as partners across APEC economies.
Various cooperation agreements and investment commitments are anticipated to be established during the event.
APEC Hosting and Significant Anniversary
Vietnam will host the APEC Year for the third time, following the years 2006 and 2017.
This organization also marks the 30th anniversary of the country's membership in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum.
