New Business Council Established for Commercial Relations Between Syria and Uzbekistan
An official council has been established to strengthen economic relations between Syria and Uzbekistan and bring together the business worlds of the two countries.
Syrian Minister of Economy and Industry Nidal Al-Shaar decided to establish the Syria-Uzbekistan Business Council as the sole authorized body to represent the Syrian side in commercial relations between the two countries.
Management Staff Determined
In accordance with the published official decision, the management staff of the Syria-Uzbekistan Business Council was formed and appointments were made to various positions.
Ahmed Anas Kallas was appointed as the President of the Council, while Abdulghani Mohammed Imad Al-Hamad and Mohammed Husam Al-Melih were brought to the position of vice presidents.
Other High-Level Appointments
Within the scope of the management chart, Mohammed Louay Sukkar assumed the position of general secretary.
Mohammed Amir Mohammed Rankusi was appointed as executive director, and Kamil Sabbagh Sherbati as director of public relations.
Operational Procedures and Audit
It was decided that the newly established council shall operate in accordance with the charter provisions of joint business councils established with countries around the world.
Additionally, compliance with the working conditions and guidelines published by the Syrian Council for the Coordination of Joint Business Councils was stipulated.
Sole Authorized Body
The newly established structure was designated as the sole authorized council in relations with Uzbekistan in accordance with the procedures adopted by the Ministry of Economy and Industry.
The Syrian Council for the Coordination of Joint Business Councils will monitor that activities are carried out in harmony with national economic priorities.
