New Financing and Employment Supports Announced for the Industrial Sector

Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır announced the details of the new financing packages, stating that they have created two separate pools of 1 trillion liras each with the objective of protecting employment and accelerating investments in the manufacturing industry.

New Financing Pools Focused on Investment and Employment

Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır stated that investment, employment, production, and exports are among their primary priorities. Following the 750 billion lira investment-committed advance loan and the 250 billion lira operating loan announced by the President last month, a total of 2 trillion liras in two separate pools of 1 trillion liras each has been created to support employment and investments in the manufacturing industry.

Signatures of Cooperation Between Banks and Institutions

To manage the process, banks and participation banks signed cooperation protocols with the Ministry of Industry and Technology and KOSGEB. With these signatures, the path has been cleared for financing support to SMEs and large-scale enterprises that maintain their employment levels across all sectors.

Support Conditions for Businesses Maintaining Employment

Businesses that succeed in maintaining their employment levels in the first and second halves of the year will be able to benefit from these announced financing supports. In the process where green and digital transformation will be accelerated, the priority of competitive production and exports will be maintained with determination.

Investment Loan Framework and New Packages

It was reported that the new framework regarding the investment-committed advance loan will be announced to the public within one to two weeks. Through this new framework, regional development initiatives and the completion and acceleration of previously initiated investments will be supported.

Per-Employee Support for Designated Sectors

An employment support of 3,500 liras per employee per month is being provided for a total of 14 sectors, primarily ready-to-wear, textiles, leather, and apparel. As a result of these efforts, it was determined that the employment level of December 2025 has been preserved as of June 2026.
