The first meeting, chaired by Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan, addressed new-generation working models and regulations within the scope of the Medium-Term Program.

New-generation working models and MTP targets

At the meeting held within the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, new-generation working models were discussed in order to adapt to changing labor market conditions. In line with the Medium-Term Program covering the next three years, holistic policies that increase secure flexibility and aim to reduce idle labor are planned to be implemented.

Employee and employer representatives came together

Stakeholders representing employee and employer segments participated in the meeting held at the ministry under the chairmanship of Minister Vedat Işıkhan. During the discussions, topics such as protecting employees' rights, enabling businesses to adapt to changing conditions, and increasing the labor force participation rate were evaluated.

Legislation regulation according to current needs

Minister Işıkhan noted that legislations in certain areas will be revisited in parallel with the transformation in working life. Işıkhan stated that the legislation aims to be made clearer, more predictable, and more applicable in line with current needs.

International practices and European models are being examined

It was stated that international practices and working models in European countries are being examined in detail. Within the framework of the MTP, it is anticipated to develop policies aimed at work-life balance and increasing the labor force participation of women and youth.
