The Savings Deposit Insurance Fund decided to exercise partnership rights over the shares of Destek Yatırım Bankası, removing the current board of directors and general manager from office.
Upon notification by the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency, the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund decided to exercise partnership rights regarding the shares of Destek Yatırım Bankası AŞ and changed the bank's management.
KAP Announcement and Written Notification
It was publicly announced through a disclosure made by Destek Finans Faktoring AŞ to the Public Disclosure Platform that a written notification was made by the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund to Destek Yatırım Bankası AŞ.
Shares and Partnership Rights
In line with the decision taken, 99.99 percent of the shares owned by Destek Finans Faktoring AŞ, controlled by Altunç Kumova, began to be exercised by the Fund in terms of partnership rights excluding dividends.
Current Management Dismissed
In accordance with the relevant decision of the Fund Board, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, members of the board of directors, and the general manager serving within Destek Yatırım Bankası were dismissed from office.
New Board of Directors Appointed
Cemal Okumuş was appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Directors, and İrem Soydan Güler as the deputy chairperson, replacing the dismissed individuals.
Appointment to the Position of General Manager
It was announced that Serdar Karakuş, who is among the names appointed as a member of the board of directors, will also carry out the position of general manager of the bank.
