The Medium-Term Program covering the years 2027-2029 brings steps that will reshape working life and expectations regarding salary calculations. The program highlights the support of women's employment, the expansion of nurseries, and flexible working hours models for parents.

New Era in Working Life

The 2027-2029 Medium-Term Program, which outlines the three-year roadmap of the economy, contains comprehensive regulations regarding working life. Within the framework of the program, it is planned to take strategic steps to increase the participation of women, youth, and disadvantaged groups in the workforce.

Care Support for Women's Employment

In order for women to play a more active role in business life, it is aimed to expand economic and accessible nursery facilities. By developing elderly and disabled care services as well, it is intended to prevent employees from dropping out of work due to family responsibilities.

Flexible Working Hours for Mothers and Fathers

Remote, flexible, and hybrid working models will be expanded to help families with children establish a work-life balance. While paving the way for parents to work remotely for certain periods, legal regulations will be prepared for the more effective implementation of paternity leave.

Retiree and Civil Servant Salary Expectations

In the Medium-Term Program, the year-end 2026 inflation forecast was announced as 28.4 percent. In line with this projection, the six-month inflation rate for the July-December period is expected to be around 9.04 percent.

January SSK and Bağ-Kur Raise

Six-month inflation rates play a direct determining role in the salary increases of SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees. According to MTP forecasts, the 9.04 percent inflation difference is projected to be reflected in retirement pensions in January.

Civil Servant and Civil Servant Retiree Increases

Collective bargaining provisions and the inflation difference are taken into account in the salary calculations of civil servants and civil servant retirees. Along with the expected CPI difference and the collective bargaining raise, the January increase is projected to reach approximately 7 percent.
