October Economic Calendar Clarified

Various economic data will be announced to the public by the relevant institutions throughout the month.
First Data of the Month and Inflation
The economic calendar will kick off on October 3 with foreign trade figures for September, and Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat will announce these data in Istanbul.
Inflation data for September will be shared with the public by the Turkish Statistical Institute on October 5.
Parliamentary Presentation and Production Figures
One day after the announcement of the inflation data, Central Bank Governor Fatih Karahan will make a presentation at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.
TurkStat will announce the real return rates of financial investment vehicles on October 8, and the industrial production index on October 9, 2026.
Balance of Payments and Budget Process
The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey will announce the balance of payments data for August to the public on October 13, 2026.
On the other hand, the 2027 Central Government Budget Law Proposal will be submitted to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey on October 17.
Central Bank Interest Rate Decision
The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, closely monitored by the markets, will announce its interest rate decision on October 22, 2026.
In its last meeting, the CBRT had decided to keep the policy rate constant at 37 percent.
Labor Force and Tourism Statistics
The Turkish Statistical Institute will announce labor force statistics for September on October 27.
