Precautionary Measures Lifted in Fund and Capital Market Investigation
In the capital market investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, restrictions on company and fund assets were lifted following new evaluations by authorized boards.
In the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding transactions in the capital market, asset freeze and precautionary measures on 45 companies and 19 funds were lifted in accordance with new evaluations by the Capital Markets Board and relevant boards.
Background of the Investigation
Investigations regarding transactions carried out in the capital market are being conducted on a broad scale by the Investigation Bureau for Financing of Terrorism and Money Laundering of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
Lifting of Measures
Following new evaluations and notifications made by the Capital Markets Board and relevant boards, it was decided to lift the aforementioned measures on the assets of individuals and institutions.
Affected Companies and Funds
It was officially announced that asset freeze decisions on a total of 45 companies and 19 funds, whose accounts previously had precautionary measures placed upon them within the scope of the ongoing investigation, have been lifted.
