Thematic Tables and Studies
Under the academic coordination of the Istanbul Technical University Zero Waste Institute, four main thematic blocks and fifteen working tables were established.
All stages of the plastic cycle from production to consumption were discussed in detail over two days.
Sharing of Outcome Outputs
Istanbul Technical University Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal shared the outcome outputs from the fifteen thematic tables with the public at the closing.
The prepared comprehensive reports are planned to be shared in full text in the coming days.
Future Vision and COP31 Process
The workshop, held in the process leading up to COP31 which Turkey will host, established an important consultation ground.
It aims to strengthen Turkey's common approach in the fight against plastic pollution.
