Rise of Turkish Defense Companies on the Defense News Top 100 List
While ASELSAN climbed higher on the world's most prestigious defense industry list, ARCA Savunma entered the list for the first time, and the total revenue of Turkish companies increased.
Turkish companies achieved significant success on the Defense News Top 100 list, one of the most important studies in the global defense industry. ASELSAN climbed three places, ARCA Savunma entered the list for the first time, and the total revenue of the five Turkish companies on the list reached $14.9 billion.
Success of ASELSAN and ARCA Savunma
On the Defense News Top 100 list, prepared annually based on the previous year's sales, ASELSAN maintained its leadership among Turkish companies while rising from 43rd to 40th place in the global rankings. Meanwhile, ARCA Savunma made a strong debut on the list, entering at 53rd place.
Rankings of Other Turkish Companies
Among the other Turkish defense industry organizations on the list, ROKETSAN made a notable jump by moving from 71st to 64th place. Turkish Aerospace Industries ranked 48th, and Machinery and Chemical Industry (MKE) ranked 81st on the list.
Changes in Defense Revenues
ASELSAN increased its defense revenue from $3 billion 541.7 million in 2024 to $4 billion 463.9 million in 2025. TAI's defense revenue was calculated at $3 billion 646.4 million, while ARCA's defense revenue was calculated at $3 billion 4 million.
Total Revenue and General Sectoral Status
ROKETSAN's defense revenue in 2025 was recorded at $2 billion 368.8 million, while MKE's revenue was $1 billion 421.4 million. According to the disclosed data, the total defense revenue of the five Turkish companies on the Defense News Top 100 list reached $14.9 billion.
