Orta Anadolu Mensucat, which has operated in Kayseri for many years, was forced to end its production due to rising costs and financial burden.

Saadet Party Chairman Mahmut Arıkan attributed the closure decision to wrong economic policies in a statement made on his social media account.

He expressed that high interest rates, low production, and closing factories are a bitter reality of the country's economic picture.

Arıkan argued that the government claimed the economy was fixed through statistical games, but this did not reflect reality.

He stated that the chimneys of closed factories cannot be made to smoke and stopped looms cannot be operated by touching up the figures.
