Seedless Raisin Intervention Purchase Prices Announced
The schedule and details of the raisin purchases to be made by the Soil Products Office to protect producers and ensure market stability have been finalized.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry announced that it has set the intervention purchase prices for seedless raisins, in which Turkey is the world leader in exports, between 85 TL and 100 TL per kilogram.
Purchase Decision for a Strategic Product
Seedless raisins, in which Turkey holds a world leadership position in production and exports, are closely monitored by official institutions due to their strategic importance for the agricultural sector and the country's export revenues.
Market Stability and Producer Protection
It has been decided that intervention purchases will be made by the Soil Products Office to prevent producers from suffering grievances during the harvest season, to prevent drops in market prices, and to ensure stability in the markets.
Kilogram Prices According to Quality
According to the determined tariff, the purchase price per kilogram of number 7 dipped seedless raisins was set at 85 liras, number 8 at 90 liras, number 9 at 95 liras, and number 10 at 100 liras.
TMO's Purchase Schedule and Preparations
The Soil Products Office announced that it has completed the technical infrastructure, storage capacity, personnel planning, and financing preparations regarding the purchases and will begin purchasing products from producers as of September 15.
